Kagome in trouble part 9

In the morning, Kagome awoke laying on the ground with Akimi next to the pond still.  She looked around for Sesshomaru but no sign of him.  She got up and walked over to Akimi and shook her sleeping body.
"Akimi, wake up.  Sesshomaru is gone."  Kagome hesitated as she noticed that Akimi wasnt stirring. "A-Akimi..?"  Kagome touched her face and noticed that she wasnt breathing and she had so sign of injuries other than her leg.
"A-Akimi!"  Kagome began to cry, "I saved you, and we dont even get very far and you die?"  Kagome stood up straight and wiped the tears from her face and looked around for Sesshomaru, she listened for any signs of battle.  
"Sesshomaru..?"  She said looking around for him, "If only I had my bow and arrows I would feel safer walking out of these woods."  She looked at Akimi's body.  "I'am sorry, Akimi, I put you through so much stress your body couldnt handle it and you couldnt even survive the night without even saying goodbye..."  She began to walk off and noticed something was wrong.  She began to feel scared that she was all alone, and didnt know what to do.  
"Inuyasha..help me.."  She wispered as she started walking through the woods and came to another opening with a small village near.  She ran to the village and saw all the villagers where on the ground and had died from the miasma.
"This is terrible."  Kagome looked around.
She searched for any signs of life.  "Hello?  Is anyone alright?"  She yelled looking at all the bodies.
"agghh..."  A man with a scratch across his back mummbled and crawled to his wife in front of him and began to weep depressingly.
Kagome saw him and ran over to him, "Are you alright?  What happened?"
"Demons, and a cloud of black smoke came through the village.  I was in my shop and saw the couds and had a cloth over my mouth."  He caughed, "I ran to my wife whom was running away because of a demon chasing her, and I saved her but she breathed in the poisonous gas and died in front of my very own eyes.  The demon scratched me and thought I was dead and left."  The man began caughing badly and then looked at Kagome and died.
Kagome couldnt help but feel sorry for the man, he was trying to save his wife from dieing but she died anyway and later, he died.  She began to cry. "Why Naraku?"  She wispered.

Sesshomaru came out of some trees from the other side of the village as Kagome turned around and notced it was him.
"Sesshomaru!?"  She looked at him as she got up and he stopped in front of her looking at her face filled with tears.  He tilted his head and then looked at the man behind her, he has holding his dead wife.  
"What are you doing here?"  He asked.
"I was looking for you." Kagome replied.
"I was looking for Inuyasha."  He said turning his head stubbornly.
"Thanks but I can search for him myself."  She crossed her arms and gave him an angry look.
"Heh, then tell me why you clouldnt find him in the first place before Naraku raped you?"  He smiled.
Kagome looked at him even madder. "Quiet."  She turned around and more tears fell from her eyes.
Sesshomaru came up from behind her and held her with his only arm and wipsered in her ear, "Its alright.  I will protect you until Inuyasha finds you."
Kagome stood there, tense and quiet.
"I understand that a lot of people are dieing, but it doesnt mean that you have to die with them.  Dont cry with them.  Do grieve with them.  The girl you brought back from Naraku's castle was going to die anyways, I senced it.  She was going through a lot of stress and she was raped many times by him.  She died because of the blood loss and the stress, Kagome, its not your fault.  If you wouldnt have brought her, she would have died of the same fate.  At least she died out here than inside that horrid castle."  He still held her as she began to fall and he held her up.
"Kagome..?"  He turned her around and noticed that her eyes where closed and she had fainted.
"..."  She managed to mumble before she was fully uncontious.
"I will not let you end with the same fate that Akimi did."  Sesshomaru picked her up with his one hand and jumped away from the dead village.  He then landed next to the two headed dragon, Ah-Uuhn.  
"Rin."  Sesshomaru looked around for her and Jaken.
"Lord Sesshomaru!" Rin ran through some bushes and bows to her lord.  "What is it my Lord?"
"Take Care of Kagome." He looked for Jaken, "Where is Jaken?"
"Right here m'Lord!"  He replied then appeared through a bush and tripped on a root making Rin giggle.
Sesshomaru turned and started walking away.
"Where are you going my lord?" Rin asked getting on top of Ah-Uuhn next to the sleeping Kagome.
"I am going to fins my halfl-brother, Inuyasha and return Kagome to him."  He replied before vanishing into the woods.
Rin bowed again, "Yes My lord.  C'mon Master Jaken."  Rin said shaking the reins on Ah-Uuhn's halter.
"Fine!"  Jaken jumped up on top of Ah-Uuhn's tail just as they there begining to walk away.
"Its not a very good idea to fly right now.  So I'll just make Ah-Uuhn walk for now."  Rin smiled looking at Kagome's peacful face.
"Yes, yes." Jaken said as he held on tightly to Ah-Uuhn's tail.
"Shes so pretty."  Rin looked at Kagome as she woke up lightly.
"Where am I?"  Kagome asked.
Rin smiled, "Your on Ah-Uuhn with Master Jaken and me, Rin"
"I see.  Where is Sesshomaru?"  
"He went to find Inuyasha."
"That ignorant half-breed, Inuyasha."  Jaken stated.
Kagome looked at Jaken and kicked him.
"Ahh!!"  Jaken was almost knocked off of Ah-Uuhn's tail and hung on to the very tip.  "That wasnt nice!"
"That wasnt nice that you call Inuyasha an ignorant half-breed."  Kagome argued.
Rin just giggled as she turned around to see where the two headed dragon was headed.
